Thank you for shopping at The Old Palm Cove. As a small independently-family owned business, we truly appreciate your time to shop with us and we are here for your questions and concerns.
At The Old Palm Cove, we strive to inspect, pack, and ship every order with care and speed. Quality control is our primary goal during this process. We pack as efficiently as possible, safeguarding fragile items.
General Information
The Old Palm Cove will only ship products within the United States.
We do ship items to Alaska and Hawaii, however; due to their location the customer will incur higher shipping costs.
We do not ship products outside of the United States.
Carriers
The Old Palm Cove ships products via UPS and USPS only within the United States.
Shipping Time - Holiday Seasons
During busy holiday seasons, The Old Palm Cove will do everything we can to ensure timely deliveries. However, please note that we cannot guarantee ground shipping for orders placed after December 15th, due to the UPS ground delivery deadline of December 18th for Christmas arrival. Order Christmas cut off for ground delivery is December 15th.
Holiday Shipping Times
During the holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas), we can not guarantee delivery prior to the date for "last minute" orders.
We require 4 business days for production time on made-to-order and customized products.
We will do our best to pack everything as quickly as possible, but extra time must be allowed when the shop is busy during the holidays.
Be aware that each carrier has cut-off dates when they will no longer guarantee "before holiday" express delivery times.
Processing Time
The Old Palm Cove appreciates your online order and all orders will be handled as quickly as possible.
Because all orders are handmade here in the USA and are (made-to-order) you need to allow 2 to 5 business days for production time.
All items are cut, sanded, painted, and or stained by hand by our skilled craftsmen.
Because most orders that we receive are "customized" using laser technology you need to allow 2 to 5 business days for production as we require time to process, stain, paint, and assemble your product.
Please allow 2 to 5 business days to build, process, and ship your order.
Shipping Outside of U.S.
Our policy is that we do not make any shipments outside the United States except for Alaska and Hawaii.
Shipping Charges
We do our very best based on our experience to ship products that accurately estimate your shipping charges.
Especially for Alaska and Hawaii locations. Our charges include insurance, fulfillment, inspection, and packing.
For Express shipments, we will use the fastest shipping time your fee allows, and of course contact you with any questions.
Insurance
The Old Palm Cove insures all shipments.
For fragile items and items over $100, sometimes the insurance cost exceeds the estimate.
We will contact the customer with any addition insurance fees should this be the case.
Damaged Items
The Old Palm Cove takes special care to make sure all products are in perfect condition and packed carefully before shipment.
Each item is inspected for quality control and we take photographs prior to sealing your package.
The policy of The Old Palm Cove in the event that a customer receives a damaged product is to allow the customer an opportunity to receive a full refund or a replacement be sent at no cost to them.
We require that the customer must provide complete photo's of the damaged items they received in transit.
We require that the customer must also provide complete photo's of the box or its container, and contact us immediately at Damaged@theoldpalmcove.com
Once we receive all required photo's so that we may examine the extent of the damage being reported, a replacement or refund may be authorized.
No replacement or refund can be granted without photo's being presented to The Old Palm Cove.
Theft at Delivery Site
"Porch Pirates" Policy
If you are concerned about theft, please provide a secure address (such as business address) where shipments can be received securely.
The Old Palm Cove will not be held responsible for shipments once delivery has been confirmed by the carrier, and no refund or replacement will be authorized due to theft.
